COMMON QUESTIONS/COMMENTS
- As a GPS utility, many features of this app require a GPS connection to work. If you are not outside, you likely do not have a GPS connection, and some features of the app will report that they are currently not available.
- If you have an iPhone 3GS, the Compass uses the built-in magnetometer. If your phone is older, the Compass is a GPS-based compass, which means that you have to be moving for it to work. Your direction is computed based multiple GPS points.
- This app does not work on the iPod Touch.
- First generation iPhones do not provide any GPS data, so a lot of the functionality in this app will not be available on those devices.

Just bought this app and its great. I love that it integrates all the GPS features in one easy to use (and see) app. The catch with this and any GPS is you can only use a 3G phone and the compass uses GPS, not a magnet so it only works if youre moving. My assumption about people saying it dosent work is they are not using a 3G phone. Ill update my review after using it more hiking this summer but so far its great.
Very good looking application, love it! Not sure what is happening with other reviewers, but a couple of the features will only work when the phone has a GPS signal, so they wont work while inside or in a backpack. Speedometer and compass only work while moving, but again this was expected. Overall great app.
WoW, this app works great outdoors with no obstructions IF
the GPS system satelites are functioning. The speedometer, altimeter , and compass seem to need several updates to become accurate. The longer you run the app the better it will work! Perhaps route saving, and more map detail functionality, will be in the next UPDATE. WORKS on the Big Island of Hawaii just great!
Some bad moments
Altitude, compass and speed are note avaiable. Gps function do not run.
This app looks good and works well - but it seems to refresh the screen every 2 seconds and eats the battery in less than an hour.
I wish I could review the features of this APP! The default mode updates data every second or so and consequently it basically chewed up my iphone battery before I got to my destination. Stay away from this one until they address the battery consumption issue. I wish I could get my money back!
This app is aweful, the speed in the main consol is completely inaccurate, I was travelling 120km/hr for about 3 hours, it told me I was travelling 95 with an average and max speed of 25 and 30, respectively. The map doesnt actually track where you came from. I specifically bought this ap to monitor my max speed and it does not perform. Also, at time=0, it starts the max and average at 30km/hr, it should start it at ZERO!
Completely unsatisfied with this purchase
This is a bad product nothing works on it and it has no settings menu to help you to figure out how to make it work. Waste of $5.
The applications dont work at all. Save your $5. I feel ripped off.
